About
Architecting platforms. Leading engineers.
I’m a practical technical leader focused on platform engineering, working at the intersection of cloud architecture, developer experience, and team building. My work is about translating technical vision into the platforms, and the engineering teams, that move organisations forward.
I led the ITVX backend platform at ITV Streaming, a self service infrastructure layer used by 100+ developers across 70+ production services on Kubernetes and EKS. Before that I delivered enterprise AWS migrations and authored 30+ custom security controls at Capgemini for financial services clients, and supported Azure development for Microsoft Premier customers.
Today, as a Senior Solution Architect at Devoteam, I focus on AI driven architectures and AWS modernisation for enterprise clients. I design resilient infrastructure, author reusable Terraform modules, and mentor the next wave of cloud engineers.

Outlook
Calm platforms for an unruly era.
The next two years will define how engineering organisations scale through the fastest, messiest technology shift of our careers. AI is rewriting how teams build software, but the platforms underneath need to stay calm, resilient, and easy to reason about. That’s the work I want to lead.

Platform engineering for the AI era
Treating LLMs, agents, and AI augmented workflows as first class infrastructure primitives, not afterthoughts. Building the patterns, observability, and guardrails that let AI live alongside production systems safely, at enterprise scale.

Velocity without fragility
As AI accelerates product teams, the platform becomes the new bottleneck. The work is self service infrastructure that scales developer experience without scaling operational toil. Identity, security, and cost are designed in, not bolted on.

Leading the next chapter
Moving from platform team leadership to platform organisation leadership. Mentoring senior engineers, shaping engineering culture, and helping organisations make the leap from “we have a platform team” to “platform is how we ship.”
